TAF FORECASTER NOTES ISSUED BY THE CANADIAN AVIATION METEOROLOGICAL
CENTRE AT 1515 UTC SATURDAY 9 JUNE 2018.

CYYZ - TORONTO/LESTER B PEARSON INTL.

SATURDAY AND SUNDAY: A SERIES OF DISTURBANCES PASSING THROUGH OHIO
WILL MAINTAIN CLOUDS AND VERY LIGHT SHOWERS MAINLY FROM THE WEST END
OF LAKE ERIE WESTWARD. SOME THUNDERSTORM ACTIVITY MAINLY ON THE US
SIDE. OTHERWISE ONLY HIGH CLOUDINESS SPILLING INTO PEARSON'S.
WE REALIZE THAT COSPA AND THE HRRR MODELS ARE BRINGING VERY LIGHT
SHOWERS TO THE AIRPORT THIS AFTERNOON. HOWEVER WITH SUCH A DRY
AIRMASS 99 PERCENT IF NOT ALL THE RAINSHOWERS EVAPORATE BEFORE
REACHING THE GROUND.

AS FAR AS WINDS VERY LIGHT NORTH-NORTHWEST WINDS GIVING WAY TO A
LIGHT LAKE BREEZE IN THE AFTERNOON HOURS SATURDAY. TOMORROW'S
DISTURBANCE OVER OHIO SEEMS TO BE A BIT DEEPER. THIS IS LIKELY TO
BEND THE WIND DIRECTION INTO A MORE EASTERLY FASHION FOR SUNDAY, WITH
MODERATE GUSTS IN THE AFTERNOON.

WEATHER VARIABILITY: LOW.

FORECASTER CONFIDENCE NEXT 3 HOURS: HIGH.

FORECASTER CONFIDENCE NEXT 6 HOURS: HIGH.
