SNOW, STRONG WINDS, AND BLOWING SNOW FOR SOUTH BAFFIN STARTING  
TUESDAY MORNING.  
 
A STRONG LOW PRESSURE SYSTEM WILL TRACK JUST SOUTH OF BAFFIN ISLAND  
TUESDAY AFTERNOON THROUGH TUESDAY NIGHT. NORTHEAST WINDS GUSTING IN  
EXCESS OF 90 KM/H ARE FORECAST IN CAPE DORSET, KIMMIRUT AND IQALUIT  
TUESDAY AFTERNOON. PANGNIRTUNG WILL LIKELY RECEIVE NORTHEAST WINDS  
GUSTING IN EXCESS OF 80 KM/H TUESDAY EVENING, HOWEVER THERE IS A  
RISK THAT GUSTS WILL EXCEED 90 KM/H.  
 
STARTING TUESDAY MORNING, OVER THE FOLLOWING 24 HOURS, 10-20 CM OF  
SNOW WILL FALL IN THE COMMUNITIES OF KIMMIRUT, IQALUIT, PANGNIRTUNG,  
AND QIKIQTARJUAQ. SNOWFALL AMOUNTS WILL BE HIGHER OVER HIGHER  
TERRAIN AND IN ONSHORE WINDS. WIDESPREAD BLOWING SNOW WITH  
VISIBILITIES FREQUENTLY BELOW 1 KM IS ANTICIPATED.
