FOR HURRICANE GASTON.  
 
THIS IS THE ONLY INFORMATION STATEMENT PLANNED FOR THIS STORM.  
TROPICAL STORM GASTON FORECAST TO DEVELOP INTO A HURRICANE WHICH  
WILL PASS WELL SOUTH OF CANADIAN FORECAST WATERS ON TUESDAY, AUGUST  
30. TROPICAL STORM GASTON WILL DEVELOP INTO A HURRICANE EARLY THIS  
WEEKEND. IT IS CURRENTLY IN THE WESTERN ATLANTIC BUT IS EXPECTED TO  
HEAD NORTH THEN ACCELERATE OFF TO THE NORTHEAST IN THE NEXT FEW  
DAYS. THE PATH OF GASTON IS EXPECTED TO REMAIN WELL SOUTH OF  
CANADIAN FORECAST WATERS, BUT THERE IS A SLIGHT CHANGE OF STRONG  
WINDS AROUND TUESDAY IN THE SOUTHERN GRAND BANKS. THE CHC WILL  
CONTINUE TO MONITOR THIS SYSTEM CLOSELY, AND IF NECESSARY WILL ISSUE  
FURTHER BULLETINS AS REQUIRED FORECASTER(S):MURTHA, JIM.
