A CLEAR SKY WAS OBSERVED ACROSS THE TRI-STATE AREA THIS MORNING  
WITH SUNRISE TEMPERATURES RANGING FROM 1 DEGREE ABOVE ZERO SOUTH  
OF TRIBUNE KANSAS TO 17 DEGREES NEAR CHEYENNE WELLS COLORADO.  
WINDS WERE GENERALLY FROM THE WEST AND SOUTHWEST AT 5 TO 15 MPH.  
ABUNDANT SUNSHINE WAS OBSERVED THROUGH EARLY THIS AFTERNOON WITH  
2 PM MST (3 PM CST) TEMPERATURES RANGING FROM 35 DEGREES IN LENORA  
KANSAS TO 55 DEGREES NEAR KIT CARSON COLORADO.  
 
OUTLOOK... TEMPERATURES WILL CONTINUE TO WARM THROUGH THE END OF  
THE WEEK AHEAD OF A STORM SYSTEM THAT COULD BRING A FEW INCHES OF  
SNOW TO THE AREA LATE SATURDAY NIGHT THROUGH SUNDAY. THE SNOW MAY  
COMBINE WITH GUSTY NORTH WINDS TO PRODUCE A FEW AREAS OF BLOWING  
SNOW POSSIBLY IMPACTING TRAVEL FOR SOME.
