OVERNIGHT, MOST OF THE CENTRAL HIGH PLAINS SAW CLEAR SKIES AND MILD  
TEMPERATURES IN THE MID 50S. AT 4AM MDT, A TEMPERATURE OF 51 DEGREES  
WAS OBSERVED AT THE NATIONAL WEATHER SERVICE IN GOODLAND, KS.  
 
OUTLOOK... FOR TODAY, VERY LOW RELATIVE HUMIDITY AND STRONG WINDS  
HAVE RESULTED IN MOST OF THE TRI-STATE AREA BEING PLACED UNDER A RED  
FLAG WARNING UNTIL 7PM MDT THIS EVENING. HIGHS TODAY WILL BE IN THE  
90S AREA WIDE. LOOKING TOWARDS THE WEEKEND, THERE WILL BE A COLD  
FRONT THAT PUSHES INTO THE AREA AND STALLS OUT. WE WILL HAVE THE  
CHANCE FOR STRONG TO SEVERE STORMS AND VERY HEAVY RAINFALL FROM  
FRIDAY THROUGH MONDAY MORNING.
