FOR THE FOLLOWING RIVERS IN COLORADO...  
 
SOUTH PLATTE RIVER NEAR KERSEY AFFECTING WELD COUNTY.  
 
.THE SOUTH PLATTE RIVER NEAR KERSEY IS FORECAST TO RISE ABOVE FLOOD  
STAGE FRIDAY MORNING. LIGHT TO MODERATE RAIN WILL CONTINUE THIS  
AFTERNOON EAST OF INTERSTATE 25. THE RAIN WILL TAPER OFF AND  
TRANSITION TO SNOW OR A MIX OF RAIN AND SNOW THIS EVENING.  
 
PRECAUTIONARY/PREPAREDNESS ACTIONS...  
 
A FLOOD WARNING MEANS THAT FLOODING IS IMMINENT. ALL INTERESTED

THE SOUTH PLATTE RIVER NEAR KERSEY.  
* FROM FRIDAY MORNING TO SATURDAY AFTERNOON.  
* AT 12:30 PM THURSDAY THE STAGE WAS 5.5 FEET.  
* FLOOD STAGE IS 10.0 FEET.  
* MINOR FLOODING IS FORECAST.  
* FORECAST...RISE ABOVE FLOOD STAGE BY FRIDAY MORNING AND CONTINUE TO  
RISE TO NEAR 10.8 FEET LATE FRIDAY NIGHT. THE RIVER WILL FALL BELOW  
FLOOD STAGE SATURDAY.  
* IMPACT...AT 10.0 FEET...THERE IS CONSIDERABLE LOWLAND AND MEADOW  
FLOODING.
