SKIES WERE CLEAR AND TEMPERATURES WERE MILD OVER CENTRAL AND  
SOUTHEAST ILLINOIS OVERNIGHT. EARLY MORNING READINGS WERE IN THE  
60S.  
 
A STRONG UPPER LEVEL HIGH PRESSURE RIDGE SHIFTING EAST OF THE  
AREA, WILL PROVIDE ANOTHER DAY OF NEAR RECORD WARMTH FOR PARTS OF  
THE MIDWEST. FARTHER WEST, A COLD FRONT OVER THE PLAINS WILL BRING  
SCATTERED SHOWERS AND STORMS AS FAR EAST AS IOWA THIS AFTERNOON  
AND EVENING. THIS FRONT WILL CROSS THE STATE LATE TUESDAY, AND  
WHILE ANY SHOWERS WILL BE ISOLATED, MUCH COOLER AIR WILL FOLLOW,  
FOR THE MIDDLE AND END OF THE WEEK.  
 
HIGH TEMPERATURES TODAY WILL REACH THE MID 80S TO LOWER 90S ACROSS  
THE MIDWEST, WHILE LOWS TONIGHT WILL DROP INTO THE 60S.
