A FEW CUMULUS CLOUDS DEVELOPED THROUGH THE EVENING, AS SOUTHERLY  
WINDS CONTINUED TO USHER THE HOT AND HUMID CONDITIONS INTO THE  
MIDWEST. TEMPERATURES LATE SUNDAY EVENING WERE DROPPING THROUGH  
THE 80S AND INTO THE UPPER 70S.  
 
THE HEAT AND HUMIDITY WILL CONTINUE INTO THE BEGINNING OF THE WORK  
WEEK, AS HIGH PRESSURE DOMINATES THE WEATHER PATTERN ACROSS THE  
REGION. HIGH TEMPERATURES WILL REMAIN IN THE 90S WITH HEAT INDICES  
IN THE 100 TO 105 DEGREE RANGE. WITH OVERNIGHT LOWS STRUGGLING TO  
DROP BELOW THE MID 70S. THE NEXT CHANCE FOR SHOWERS AND  
THUNDERSTORMS ACROSS THE MIDWEST ARRIVES TUESDAY, AS A LOW  
PRESSURE SYSTEM MOVES INTO THE AREA, BRINGING A BREAK FROM THE HOT  
AND HUMID CONDITIONS.  
 
TEMPERATURES WILL ONLY FALL INTO THE MID 70S FOR LOWS TONIGHT  
ACROSS THE REGION. HIGHS ON MONDAY ARE FORECAST TO REACH THE LOW  
TO MID 90S THROUGHOUT THE MIDWEST.
