CLOUDY SKIES AND COOLER AIR PREVAILED OVER CENTRAL AND SOUTHEAST  
ILLINOIS ON TUESDAY. HIGH TEMPERATURES WERE IN THE MIDDLE TO UPPER  
30S, THOUGH BRISK NORTHWEST WINDS PRODUCED WIND CHILLS IN THE  
TEENS AND 20S.  
 
HIGH PRESSURE WILL BUILD INTO THE MIDWEST, BRINGING MOSTLY DRY  
AND COOL CONDITIONS THROUGH WEDNESDAY. A WEAK UPPER LEVEL  
DISTURBANCE COULD PRODUCE SOME SCATTERED FLURRIES ON WEDNESDAY.  
AS THE HIGH SHIFTS OFF TO THE EAST ON THURSDAY, SOUTHERLY FLOW  
WILL BRING A WARMING TREND ACROSS THE REGION. DRY AND SEASONABLY  
MILD CONDITIONS ARE EXPECTED FOR THE END OF THE WORK WEEK.  
 
LOW TEMPERATURES TONIGHT WILL DROP INTO THE 20S FOR MUCH OF THE  
MIDWEST. HIGHS ON WEDNESDAY WILL RANGE FROM THE LOWER 30S IN  
NORTHERN INDIANA, TO THE UPPER 40S IN SOUTHERN MISSOURI.
