MOSTLY CLOUDY SKIES AND MILD TEMPERATURES PREVAILED OVER CENTRAL  
AND SOUTHEAST ILLINOIS OVERNIGHT. EARLY MORNING READINGS WERE IN  
THE MIDDLE TO UPPER 40S.  
 
A LOW PRESSURE SYSTEM WILL TRACK INTO THE OHIO VALLEY TODAY,  
BRINGING SCATTERED SHOWERS AND THUNDERSTORMS TO THE REGION. STRONG  
TO SEVERE STORMS ARE POSSIBLE FROM SOUTHERN ILLINOIS, INTO THE  
OHIO VALLEY. BEHIND THIS SYSTEM, HIGH PRESSURE WILL BUILD IN FOR  
TUESDAY, AND BRING DRY AND SEASONABLE CONDITIONS. THE UNSETTLED  
WEATHER PATTERN WILL RESUME ON WEDNESDAY AND THURSDAY, AS THE  
NEXT STORM SYSTEM MOVES IN FROM THE WEST.  
 
HIGH TEMPERATURES TODAY WILL RANGE FROM THE LOWER 50S IN NORTHERN  
IOWA, TO THE LOWER 70S IN SOUTHERN INDIANA. LOWS TONIGHT WILL  
RANGE FROM THE UPPER 30S IN NORTHERN ILLINOIS, TO THE MID 50S  
ALONG THE OHIO VALLEY.
