THIS AFTERNOON AND TONIGHT.  
 
HEAT INDICES WILL RISE INTO THE UPPER 90S THIS AFTERNOON.  
 
SCATTERED THUNDERSTORMS ARE EXPECTED THIS AFTERNOON AND TONIGHT. A  
FEW OF THE STORMS MAY BE STRONG TO SEVERE DURING THE EVENING HOURS,  
CAPABLE OF PRODUCING LOCALLY DAMAGING WIND GUSTS. HEAVY RAINFALL MAY  
ALSO PRODUCE LOCALIZED FLASH FLOODING.  
   
DAYS TWO THROUGH SEVEN
 
FRIDAY THROUGH WEDNESDAY.  
 
THE WARM AND HUMID AIRMASS WILL REMAIN IN PLACE ACROSS THE REGION  
INTO THE WEEKEND WITH HEAT INDICES IN THE MID TO UPPER 90S FRIDAY  
AND SATURDAY AFTERNOON.  
 
OCCASIONAL THUNDERSTORMS CAN ALSO BE EXPECTED FRIDAY AND SATURDAY. A  
FEW STORMS MAY BECOME SEVERE, ESPECIALLY DURING THE AFTERNOON AND  
EVENING HOURS. THE MAIN SEVERE THREAT WILL BE DAMAGING WIND AND
