WEATHER SYNOPSIS
NATIONAL WEATHER SERVICE PADUCAH KY
313 AM CDT MON SEP 25 2017

SANDWICHED BETWEEN A COLD FRONT THAT IS APPROACHING FROM OUR
WEST, AND MARIA, JUST OFF THE CAROLINA COAST, TO OUR EAST, WE WILL
REMAIN UNDER THE PREDOMINANT INFLUENCE OF THE LARGE HIGH PRESSURE
SYSTEM HOLDING FIRM ACROSS THE OHIO RIVER VALLEY TODAY AND
TOMORROW. WHILE AN ISOLATED SHOWER OR THUNDERSTORM DURING THE
HEAT OF THE AFTERNOON CANNOT BE ALTOGETHER RULED OUT, IT DOES
APPEAR TO BE MAINLY A DRY WEATHER FORECAST MONDAY AND TUESDAY.
ANOTHER SMALL CHANCE OF RAIN COMES WEDNESDAY, ASSOCIATED WITH THE
COLD FRONT'S PASSAGE. THE HOT WEATHER AT THE START OF THE WEEK,
WITH HIGHS AROUND 90 AND LOWS IN THE MID AND UPPER 60S, WILL
TRANSITION DURING THE MIDDLE WEEK PERIOD WITH 80S AND 60S AS THE
FRONT PASSES, AND BY THE END OF THE WEEK, WE WILL ENJOY PLEASANTLY
DRY AND LOWER HUMIDITY AIR, WITH COOLER TEMPERATURES IN THE 70S
AND 50S FOR HIGHS AND LOWS, RESPECTIVELY.
