THIS HAZARDOUS WEATHER OUTLOOK IS FOR PORTIONS OF THE MISSOURI  
OZARKS AND EXTREME SOUTHEAST KANSAS.  
   
DAY ONE
 
TONIGHT.  
 
WEATHER HAZARDS EXPECTED...  
 
LIMITED HAIL RISK.  
LIMITED THUNDERSTORM WIND DAMAGE RISK.  
LIMITED LIGHTNING RISK.  
 
DISCUSSION...  
 
SCATTERED STORMS WILL BE POSSIBLE, SPREADING FROM WEST TO EAST  
IN COUNTIES ALONG AND NORTH OF A FORT SCOTT KANSAS TO SALEM  
MISSOURI LINE FROM 11 PM INTO THE OVERNIGHT HOURS. THERE WILL BE A  
LIMITED RISK FOR 60 MPH WIND GUSTS AND PENNY SIZED HAIL, BUT  
WIDESPREAD SEVERE WEATHER IS NOT EXPECTED.  
   
DAYS TWO THROUGH SEVEN
 
SUNDAY THROUGH FRIDAY.  
 
HIGH TEMPERATURES WILL WARM INTO THE LOW TO MID 90S AGAIN SUNDAY,  
AS HEAT INDEX VALUES TOP OUT BETWEEN 100 AND 105 DEGREES.  
 
A FRONT WILL SPREAD SOUTH THROUGH THE AREA SUNDAY INTO MONDAY.  
SCATTERED SHOWERS AND STORMS ARE POSSIBLE DURING THE DAY SUNDAY  
INTO SUNDAY EVENING. A FEW STRONG STORMS WILL BE POSSIBLE WITH  
HAIL UP TO THE SIZE OF PENNIES AND WINDS IN EXCESS OF 50 MPH.  
SEVERE STORMS ARE NOT EXPECTED.  
 
A FEW SHOWERS AND STORMS WILL THEN REMAIN POSSIBLE AT TIMES  
THROUGH OUT THE WEEK WITH SLIGHTLY HIGHER CHANCES THURSDAY. HEAT  
INDEX VALUES WILL REMAIN AROUND 100 MONDAY AND TUESDAY WITH  
READINGS BACK TO 105 POSSIBLE BY MID WEEK.
