THIS HAZARDOUS WEATHER OUTLOOK IS FOR PORTIONS OF SOUTHERN  
ILLINOIS, SOUTHWEST INDIANA, WESTERN KENTUCKY, AND SOUTHEAST  
MISSOURI.  
   
DAY ONE
 
THIS AFTERNOON AND TONIGHT  
 
ISOLATED THUNDERSTORMS WILL CONTINUE LATE THIS AFTERNOON MAINLY  
OVER THE SOUTHERN HALF OF THE REGION. LOCALLY HEAVY RAINFALL AND  
LIGHTNING WILL BE THE PRIMARY CONCERNS.  
 
HEAT INDEX VALUES WILL REMAIN IN THE 100 TO 105 RANGE OVER MUCH  
OF THE REGION THROUGH THE REMAINDER OF THE DAY. REFER TO THE HEAT  
ADVISORY AND SPECIAL WEATHER STATEMENT PRODUCTS FOR THE LATEST  
INFORMATION.  
   
DAYS TWO THROUGH SEVEN
 
MONDAY THROUGH SATURDAY  
 
VERY HOT AND HUMID CONDITIONS WILL CONTINUE MONDAY. REFER TO THE  
HEAT ADVISORY AND SPECIAL WEATHER STATEMENT PRODUCTS FOR THE  
LATEST INFORMATION. HEAT INDEX VALUES MAY REACH 100 IN SOME  
LOCATIONS TUESDAY AFTERNOON AS WELL.  
 
SMALL CHANCES OF THUNDERSTORMS ARE FORECAST FOR ALL OR A PORTION  
OF THE AREA MONDAY AND TUESDAY. BETTER THUNDERSTORM COVERAGE IS  
EXPECTED WEDNESDAY THROUGH FRIDAY, WITH SMALL CHANCES LINGERING  
INTO NEXT WEEKEND. A FEW STRONG STORMS CANNOT BE RULED OUT, BUT  
LOCALLY HEAVY RAINFALL AND LIGHTNING SHOULD BE THE PRIMARY  
CONCERNS.
