WEATHER PATTERNS ARE STILL SUGGESTING THE POTENTIAL FOR EXCESSIVE  
RAINFALL OVER PARTS OF THE QUAD STATE REGION OVER THE WEEKEND. AT  
THIS TIME, THE RAINFALL AMOUNTS OF THREE, TO AS MUCH AS FIVE  
INCHES WILL BE POSSIBLE THROUGH SUNDAY NIGHT FROM THE WABASH AND  
OHIO RIVERS WESTWARD INTO SOUTHERN ILLINOIS AND SOUTHEAST  
MISSOURI. THE HEAVIEST RAINFALL IS EXPECTED TO FALL OVER THE  
SOUTHEAST MISSOURI FOOTHILLS. IN ADDITION TO THE HEAVY RAIN  
POTENTIAL, NEARLY ALL OF THE QUAD STATE REGION WILL BE AT SOME  
RISK FOR SEVERE THUNDERSTORMS, STARTING TONIGHT AND CONTINUING  
THROUGH SUNDAY EVENING. DAMAGING WINDS, HAIL, AND THE POTENTIAL  
FOR A TORNADO OR TWO WILL BE POSSIBLE, ESPECIALLY IN AND NEAR  
FRONTAL BOUNDARIES THAT ARE EXPECTED TO MOVE THROUGH THE AREA.  
HIGHS IN THE 70S AND 80S WILL BE THE RULE THROUGH THE WEEKEND.
