..WINTER WEATHER ADVISORY IS CANCELLED

WHILE SNOW IS ONGOING ACROSS PORTIONS OF EASTERN KENTUCKY,
ADDITIONAL AMOUNTS OF AN INCH OR LESS ARE EXPECTED THROUGH THE
EARLY AFTERNOON, AT WHICH POINT SNOW WILL BEGIN TO TRANSITION BACK
TO RAIN. SOME OF THE HIGHEST ELEVATIONS ALONG THE VIRGINIA BORDER
COULD SEE SOME ISOLATED HIGHER AMOUNTS BETWEEN 1 AND 2 INCHES.
OVERALL, THIS WILL RESULT IN TOTAL SNOW AMOUNTS WELL BELOW
ADVISORY CRITERIA ACROSS EASTERN KENTUCKY. ALSO, WARM TEMPERATURES
LEADING INTO THE EVENT WILL PREVENT MUCH IMPACT FROM SNOW OR SLEET
ON AREA ROADWAYS OTHER THAN SOME ISOLATED SLICK SPOTS ON BRIDGES
AND OVERPASSES. AS SUCH, THE ADVISORY HAS BEEN CANCELLED.
