THIS HAZARDOUS WEATHER OUTLOOK IS FOR PORTIONS OF SOUTHEAST  
LOUISIANA...SOUTH MISSISSIPPI AND THE ADJACENT COASTAL WATERS.  
   
DAY ONE
 
THIS AFTERNOON AND TONIGHT  
 
SCATTERED THUNDERSTORMS ARE EXPECTED TO DEVELOP OVER PARTS OF  
SOUTHEAST LOUISIANA AND SOUTHWEST MISSISSIPPI LATE TONIGHT.  
AREAS WEST OF THE INTERSTATE 55 CORRIDOR WILL HAVE THE HIGHEST  
THREAT OF THUNDERSTORMS. A FEW OF THE STORMS COULD BE STRONG  
AND PRODUCE FREQUENT LIGHTNING STRIKES AND GUSTY WINDS.  
   
DAYS TWO THROUGH SEVEN
 
SUNDAY THROUGH FRIDAY  
 
SCATTERED THUNDERSTORMS ARE EXPECTED TO CONTINUE TO AFFECT THE  
ENTIRE AREA ON SUNDAY IN ADVANCE OF AN APPROACHING COLD FRONT. A  
FEW OF THE STORMS COULD BECOME STRONG TO SEVERE. AREAS EAST OF  
INTERSTATE 55 HAVE THE HIGHEST RISK OF STRONG TO SEVERE  
THUNDERSTORMS ON SUNDAY. THESE THUNDERSTORMS WILL BE CAPABLE OF  
PRODUCING FREQUENT LIGHTNING, GUSTY WINDS, AND BRIEF HEAVY  
RAINFALL. IF ANY STORMS BECOME SEVERE, THE PRIMARY THREAT WILL BE  
STRONG DAMAGING WIND GUSTS, THOUGH A BRIEF TORNADO OR TWO CANNOT  
BE RULED OUT.
