A LARGE AREA OF SHOWERS AND THUNDERSTORMS COVER MOST OF THE
NORTHWEST GULF OF MEXICO THIS MORNING. THESE STORMS ARE ASSOCIATED
WITH A WARM FRONT THAT IS LIFTING BACK TOWARDS THE UPPER TEXAS
AND SOUTHERN LOUISIANA COAST. STORMS WILL MOVE INTO THE COASTAL
COUNTIES AND PARISHES THROUGH THE EARLY MORNING HOURS WITH
RAINFALL RATES ABOVE 3/4 OF AN INCH PER HOUR IN SOME LOCATIONS.
THIS WILL CAUSE SOME MINOR FLOODING OF AREA ROADS AND DITCHES.
ELSEWHERE... PATCHES OF RAIN CONTINUE TO FALL ACROSS INLAND
SOUTHEAST TEXAS AND SOUTHERN LOUISIANA. RAINS ARE MOVING TO THE
EAST NORTHEAST.
