DISCUSSION

WARM MOIST ONSHORE FLOW IS TO CONTINUE THROUGH SATURDAY
AFTERNOON. A COLD FRONT IS THEN EXPECTED TO MOVE THROUGH THE REGION
SATURDAY NIGHT.

REMARKS...
1. AREAS OF LIGHT TO POSSIBLY MODERATE FOG ARE POSSIBLE TONIGHT
STARTING AROUND MIDNIGHT INTO EARLY WEDNESDAY MORNING, BUT WITH WINDS
EXPECTED TO REMAIN AT LEAST 5 MPH THE FOG WILL BE PURELY THE ADVECTION
TYPE FROM A LOWERING LOW CLOUD LAYER IF IT DOES DEVELOP. A REPEAT OF
THESE SAME CONDITIONS IS POSSIBLE WEDNESDAY NIGHT INTO THURSDAY MORNING.
2. AUGMENTATION OF THE WINDS IS EXPECTED DURING THE LATE MORNING AND
AFTERNOON HOURS WEDNESDAY DUE TO THE SEABREEZE EFFECT, HOWEVER THERE
SHOULD BE VERY LITTLE DIRECTIONAL CHANGE IF AT ALL, AND THEY SHOULD
REMAIN IN YOUR ALLOWABLE RANGE.
3. YES, WINDS WILL REMAIN SOUTHEAST TONIGHT, AND LIKELY SO AGAIN
WEDNESDAY NIGHT EVEN THOUGH SPEEDS MAY BE A BIT LOWER AFTER MIDNIGHT
WEDNESDAY NIGHT COMPARED TO TONIGHT. ANY THUNDERSTORMS SHOULD REMAIN
ISOLATED ENOUGH TO NOT CAUSE A SIGNIFICANT THREAT OF ERRATIC OUTFLOW
WINDS.
4. THE NEXT CHANCE OF RECEIVING RAINFALL AMOUNTS OVER 1 INCH IS LATE
SUNDAY NIGHT INTO MONDAY AS A COLD FRONT FINALLY PUSHES THROUGH OUR
REGION, HOWEVER THE AVERAGE FORECAST RAINFALL AT THIS TIME IS LOOKING
MORE LIKE ONE-QUARTER TO THREE-QUARTER OF AN INCH DURING THAT PERIOD.
