SKIES OVER THE REGION TODAY WERE MOSTLY SUNNY TO PARTLY CLOUDY.  
THERE WERE SOME ISOLATED RAIN SHOWERS THAT DEVELOPED OVER FAR  
NORTH CENTRAL TO NORTHWEST PARTS OF THE STATE THIS AFTERNOON.  
WINDS WERE STRONG DURING THE DAY WITH MOST AREAS SEEING WIND  
GUSTS UP TO THE 40 TO 50 MPH RANGE. HIGHER GUSTS BETWEEN 50 TO  
60 MPH WERE ALSO OCCASIONALLY REPORTED. HIGH TEMPERATURES THIS  
AFTERNOON GENERALLY RANGED FROM THE 60S TO 70S OVER HIGHER TERRAIN  
TO THE 80S TO 90S OVER LOWER TERRAIN. OVER CHAVES COUNTY, AFTERNOON  
HIGHS REACHED THE MID 90S TO LOWER 100S.  
 
SKIES WILL BE MOSTLY CLEAR TO PARTLY CLOUDY TONIGHT WITH ANY SHOWER  
ACTIVITY IN THE NORTH ENDING EARLY THIS EVENING. WINDS WILL DIMINISH  
AFTER SUNSET AND THROUGHOUT THE NIGHT BUT REMAIN BREEZY. OVERNIGHT  
LOW TEMPERATURES WILL RANGE FROM THE 30S TO 40S OVER HIGHER TERRAIN,  
OVER THE UPPER RIO GRANDE RIVER VALLEY AND OVER THE WEST TO SOUTHWEST  
AND OVER THE RATON AND ESTANCIA BASINS. THE SAN JUAN BASIN, MIDDLE  
TO LOWER RIO GRANDE RIVER VALLEY, NORTHERN TULAROSA BASIN AND THE  
EASTERN PLAINS WILL SEE OVERNIGHT LOWS IN THE 50S TO 60S. FRIDAY  
WILL BE SIMILAR TO TODAY WITH MOSTLY SUNNY TO PARTLY CLOUDY SKIES.  
WINDY CONDITIONS ARE AGAIN IN STORE FOR THE AREA AND BY AFTERNOON,  
GUSTS UP TO THE 35 TO 45 MPH RANGE CAN BE EXPECTED. HIGHER TERRAIN  
OVER THE SOUTH CENTRAL MOUNTAINS WILL SEE GUSTS UP TO 50 MPH.  
AFTERNOON HIGH TEMPERATURES ON FRIDAY WILL BE SLIGHTLY COOLER.
