* WHAT...SNOW EXPECTED. EXPECT TOTAL SNOW ACCUMULATIONS OF 2 TO 4  
AT ELEVATIONS ABOVE 8500 FEET, WITH LOCALLY HIGHER AMOUNTS  
AROUND 6 INCHES ON HIGHER PEAKS OF THE SANGRE DE CRISTO  
MOUNTAINS. STRONG WINDS WILL CREATE AREAS OF REDUCED  
VISIBILITIES IN BLOWING SNOW THIS MORNING. SNOW DRIFTS MAY REACH  
SEVERAL INCHES DEEP.  
 
* WHERE...SAN JUAN MOUNTAINS, NORTHERN SANGRE DE CRISTOS ABOVE  
9500 FEET INCLUDING RED RIVER AND SOUTHERN SANGRE DE CRISTOS  
ABOVE 9500 FEET.  
 
* WHEN...UNTIL 4 PM MDT THIS AFTERNOON.  
 
* ADDITIONAL DETAILS...ROADS WILL BECOME SLUSHY AND SNOW PACKED IN  
SPOTS, ESPECIALLY OVER MOUNTAIN PASSES. VISIBILITIES WILL DROP  
BELOW A HALF MILE AT TIMES DURING PERIODS OF HEAVIER SNOW AND  
BLOWING SNOW. SOUTH AND SOUTHWEST WIND GUSTS THIS MORNING WILL  
REACH UP TO 40 MPH IN THE SAN JUAN MOUNTAINS, AND UP TO 50 MPH  
IN THE SANGRE DE CRISTOS. SPEEDS WILL WEAKEN DURING THE  
AFTERNOON.
