==DISCUSSION==  
 
FREEZING RAIN BEGINNING TO CHANGE TO RAIN AROUND MIDNIGHT. POWER  
OUTAGES STILL LIKELY.  
 
TEMPERATURES ARE BEGINNING TO CREEP JUST ABOVE THE FREEZING MARK IN  
THE HAMILTON AREA. THEY WILL BE SLOW TO CLIMB, AND SOME ICING ON  
TREES AND STRUCTURES CAN STILL OCCUR UNTIL READINGS WARM A LITTLE  
FURTHER.  
 
ICE BUILDUP OF 5 TO JUST OVER 10 MM HAS BEEN REPORTED IN THE AREA.  
STRONG WINDS WITH GUSTS TO 80 KM/H COMBINED WITH THESE ICE  
ACCUMULATIONS WILL CONTINUE TO CAUSE SPORADIC POWER OUTAGES DUE TO  
FALLEN TREE LIMBS AND POWER LINES.  
 
DANGEROUS WINTER DRIVING CONDITIONS ARE EXPECTED ON UNTREATED ROADS,  
WORSENED BY FALLEN TREE LIMBS.  
 
STAY AWAY FROM FALLEN POWER LINES. PUBLIC SAFETY CANADA ENCOURAGES  
EVERYONE TO MAKE AN EMERGENCY PLAN AND GET AN EMERGENCY KIT WITH  
DRINKING WATER, FOOD, MEDICINE, A FIRST-AID KIT AND A FLASHLIGHT.
