FREEZING RAIN LINGERING THIS MORNING. LOCALIZED POWER OUTAGES  
LIKELY.  
PERIODS OF FREEZING RAIN CONTINUE ACROSS MUCH OF EASTERN AND CENTRAL  
ONTARIO. IT SHOULD GRADUALLY TRANSITION TO RAIN TODAY.  
 
ICE ACCUMULATIONS OF 5 TO 10 MM COMBINED WITH GUSTY NORTHEAST WIND  
TO 50 TO 60 KM/H WILL LIKELY RESULT IN SOME POWER OUTAGES DUE TO  
FALLEN TREE LIMBS AND POWER LINES.  
 
SURFACES SUCH AS HIGHWAYS, ROADS, WALKWAYS AND PARKING LOTS WILL  
BECOME ICY, SLIPPERY AND HAZARDOUS. CONSIDER POSTPONING  
NON-ESSENTIAL TRAVEL UNTIL CONDITIONS IMPROVE. BEWARE OF BRANCHES OR  
ELECTRICAL WIRES THAT COULD BREAK UNDER THE WEIGHT OF ICE.
