..SNOW FOR THE CASCADES AND NORTHERN ROCKIES
 
 
A FRONT EXTENDING FROM THE OHIO VALLEY SOUTHWARD TO THE CENTRAL  
GULF COAST WILL SLOWLY MOVE EASTWARD TO THE MID-ATLANTIC/SOUTHEAST  
COAST BY THURSDAY MORNING AND OFF THE MID-ATLANTIC COAST BY  
THURSDAY EVENING. SHOWERS AND THUNDERSTORMS WILL DEVELOP ALONG  
AND AHEAD OF THE BOUNDARY OVER PARTS OF THE OHIO VALLEY INTO THE  
TENNESSEE VALLEY ON WEDNESDAY MORNING. ON WEDNESDAY AFTERNOON,  
THE SHOWERS AND THUNDERSTORMS WILL EXPAND SOUTHWARD ALONG AND  
AHEAD OF THE FRONT OVER THE MID-ATLANTIC INTO THE SOUTHEAST. ON  
WEDNESDAY EVENING, THE SHOWERS AND THUNDERSTORMS WILL END OVER  
MOST OF THE SOUTHERN MID-ATLANTIC AND THE SOUTHEAST WHILE  
CONTINUING OVER THE NORTHERN MID-ATLANTIC THROUGH THURSDAY  
EVENING. AGAIN ON THURSDAY AFTERNOON, THE SHOWERS AND  
THUNDERSTORMS WILL REDEVELOP ALONG THE BOUNDARY OVER PARTS OF THE  
SOUTHERN MID-ATLANTIC INTO THE SOUTHEAST. ADDITIONALLY, RAIN WILL  
DEVELOP THE WESTERN OHIO VALLEY/GREAT LAKES THAT WILL MOVE  
EASTWARD INTO THE LOWER GREAT LAKES/NORTHEAST ON WEDNESDAY EVENING  
INTO THURSDAY EVENING.  
 
MEANWHILE, A FRONT OVER THE NORTHERN ROCKIES INTO NORTHERN  
CALIFORNIA WILL MOVE EASTWARD TO THE UPPER MISSISSIPPI  
VALLEY/CENTRAL PLAINS INTO THE CENTRAL ROCKIES BY THURSDAY  
EVENING. BEHIND THE FRONT, ONSHORE FLOW WILL STREAM MOISTURE INTO  
THE NORTHWEST PRODUCING RAIN AND HIGHER ELEVATION SNOW EASTWARD TO  
THE NORTHERN ROCKIES/NORTHERN HIGH PLAINS THROUGH THURSDAY  
EVENING. THE SNOW LEVELS WILL LOWER OVER THE CASCADES AND THE  
NORTHERN ROCKIES AFTER THE FRONT GOES BY.
