..HEAVY RAIN POSSIBLE FOR NORTHERN NEW ENGLAND
 
 
   
..WET SNOW FOR THE UPPER MISSISSIPPI VALLEY/UPPER GREAT LAKES
 
 
A FRONT EXTENDING FROM THE NORTHERN PLAINS WESTWARD TO THE PACIFIC  
NORTHWEST WILL MOVE SOUTHEASTWARD TO THE UPPER GREAT LAKES/UPPER  
MISSISSIPPI VALLEY THEN ROUGHLY SOUTHWARD TO THE LOWER MISSISSIPPI  
VALLEY/SOUTHERN PLAINS BY FRIDAY. LIGHT RAIN WILL DEVELOP OVER  
PARTS OF THE PACIFIC NORTHWEST THAT WILL END OVERNIGHT WEDNESDAY.  
ALSO OVERNIGHT WEDNESDAY, RAIN AND HIGHER ELEVATION SNOW WILL  
DEVELOP OVER PARTS OF THE NORTHERN ROCKIES/NORTHERN HIGH PLAINS  
THAT WILL CHANGE OVER TO ALL SNOW BY THURSDAY MORNING. THE SNOW  
WILL MOVE INTO THE CENTRAL ROCKIES BY THURSDAY AFTERNOON THAT WILL  
END OVERNIGHT THURSDAY. IN ADDITION, RAIN AND WET SNOW DEVELOP  
OVER PARTS OF THE NORTHERN PLAINS/UPPER MISSISSIPPI VALLEY AND THE  
UPPER GREAT LAKES ON THURSDAY AFTERNOON THAT WILL MOVE END OVER  
THE NORTHERN PLAINS OVERNIGHT THURSDAY. RAIN WILL EXPAND MORE  
OVER THE GREAT LAKES WHILE AREAS OF WET SNOW AND RAIN WILL  
CONTINUE OVER PARTS OF THE UPPER GREAT LAKES/UPPER MISSISSIPPI  
VALLEY THROUGH FRIDAY.  
 
MEANWHILE, UPPER-LEVEL ENERGY OVER THE GREAT LAKES INTO THE  
SOUTHERN APPALACHIANS WILL MOVE NORTHEASTWARD INTO NORTHERN NEW  
ENGLAND BY FRIDAY.
