OHIO VALLEY AND LOWER GREAT LAKES...

...HEAVY SNOW POSSIBLE ACROSS THE HIGHER ELEVATIONS OF THE PACIFIC
NORTHWEST AND CENTRAL AND NORTHERN ROCKIES...

...ABOVE NORMAL TEMPERATURES EXPECTED ACROSS MUCH OF THE SOUTHERN
AND EASTERN U.S...

WITH A DEEP TROUGH IN PLACE ACROSS THE WESTERN U.S. A RELATIVELY
WARM AND HUMID AIRMASS WILL BUILD ACROSS THE SOUTH-CENTRAL AND
EASTERN U.S. OVER THE NEXT SEVERAL DAYS. ABOVE NORMAL TEMPERATURES
ARE EXPECTED ACROSS EASTERN COLORADO AND MUCH OF THE SOUTHERN
PLAINS SOUTH OF A FRONTAL BOUNDARY TODAY. A WARM FRONT WILL PUSH
NORTHEASTWARD ACROSS THE GREAT LAKES ALLOWING THE WARMTH AND
HUMIDITY TO SPREAD INTO THE OHIO VALLEY AND LOWER GREAT LAKES. A
COLD FRONT WILL EMERGE FROM THE WESTERN U.S. AND PUSH ACROSS THE

THE OHIO VALLEY AND LOWER GREAT LAKES. FLASH FLOODING WILL BE A
CONCERN ACROSS THE REGION.

A DEEP TROUGH OVER THE WESTERN U.S. WILL BRING A PERIOD OF ACTIVE
WEATHER AND COOLER TEMPERATURES. HEAVY SNOW IS EXPECTED ACROSS THE
NORTHERN AND CENTRAL ROCKIES TODAY BEHIND A COLD FRONT CROSSING
THE REGION. THE FRONTAL BOUNDARY WILL BECOME STALLED ACROSS THE
CENTRAL ROCKIES LEADING TO A MORE PROLONGED PERIOD OF SNOWFALL
ACROSS WESTERN COLORADO AND SOUTHERN WYOMING. A SECOND LOW
PRESSURE CENTER WILL COME ASHORE IN THE PACIFIC NORTHWEST ON
SUNDAY BRINGING ANOTHER ROUND OF SNOWFALL TO THE CASCADES AND
NORTHERN ROCKIES.
