UPPER-LEVEL ENERGY OVER THE LOWER MISSISSIPPI/TENNESSEE VALLEYS  
WILL MOVE EASTWARD OFF THE SOUTHEAST COAST BY FRIDAY MORNING. THE  
ENERGY WILL AID IN THE DEVELOPMENT OF RAIN OVER PARTS OF THE  
SOUTHERN MID-ATLANTIC INTO PARTS OF THE CENTRAL/SOUTHERN  
APPALACHIAN AND PARTS OF THE TENNESSEE VALLEY INTO THE WESTERN  
GULF COAST THAT WILL MOVE EASTWARD OFF THE MID-ATLANTIC/SOUTHEAST  
COAST BY FRIDAY MORNING. SHOWERS AND THUNDERSTORMS WILL ALSO  
DEVELOP OVER PARTS OF THE EASTERN GULF COAST AND THE SOUTHEAST  
THAT WILL MOVE OFF THE SOUTHEAST COAST OVERNIGHT THURSDAY.  
 
IN THE MEANTIME, A FRONT OVER THE GREAT LAKES TO THE CENTRAL  
PLAINS WILL MOVE EASTWARD OFF THE EASTERN SEABOARD ON FRIDAY. THE  
SYSTEM WILL PRODUCE LAKE EFFECT/LAKE ENHANCES SNOW OVER PARTS OF  
THE UPPER GREAT LAKES THAT WILL EXPAND INTO THE LOWER GREAT LAKES  
BY THURSDAY EVENING THAT WILL MOVE INTO THE NORTHEAST OVERNIGHT  
THURSDAY ENDING BY FRIDAY AFTERNOON. LAKE EFFECT SNOW WILL  
DEVELOP OVER THE UPPER GREAT LAKES EARLY FRIDAY MORNING ENDING BY  
FRIDAY AFTERNOON.

FINALLY, OUT WEST, A FRONTAL SYSTEM MOVING INTO THE PACIFIC  
NORTHWEST THIS AFTERNOON WILL KEEP WET WEATHER IN THE FORECAST  
ACROSS MUCH OF THE NORTHWEST STATES AND INTO THE ROCKIES THROUGH  
THE REST OF THE WEEK. LOCALLY HEAVY RAINFALL WILL BE POSSIBLE FOR  
COASTAL AREAS OF THE PACIFIC NORTHWEST AND NORTHERN CALIFORNIA,  
WITH SNOW EXPECTED IN THE HIGHEST ELEVATIONS OF THE CASCADES AND  
INTO THE INTERMOUNTAIN WEST/NORTHERN ROCKIES. ACROSS NORTHEAST  
WASHINGTON AND INTO NORTHWEST MONTANA, SOME LIGHT FREEZING RAIN  
MAY ALSO BE POSSIBLE IN SOME OF THE LOWER ELEVATIONS.
