OVER MATO GROSSO IN BRASIL. THIS IS VENTING DEEP CONVECTION ACROSS  
CENTRAL BRASIL-BOLIVIA AND PERU...WITH MOST INTENSE CLUSTERING  
BETWEEN 10S-20S.  
 
AT 250 HPA...THE SOUTHERN POLAR LIES ALONG 41S 120W...A 131KT  
MAXIMUM AT 42S 110W...44S 99W...EXITING AT 42S 89W. THE NORTHERN  
POLAR LIES ALONG 36S 120W...37S 113W...40S 102W...EXITING AT 37S  
90W. IT REFORMS AT 37S 40W...ALONG 34S 30W...33S 18W...38S  
10W...AND 45S 02W. AT 200 HPA...THE SUBTROPICAL JET HAS ITS

NORTHERN STREAM FLOW...WITH ONE STREAMING ACROSS THE  
BELLINGSHAUSEN SEA TO THE ANTARCTIC PENINSULA AS ONE TO THE NORTH  
MOVES ACROSS 86W TO 30S. A SHORT WAVE RIDGE ALONG 70W SEPARATES  
THE LATTER FROM ANOTHER TROUGH OVER CENTRAL ARGENTINA. A SKEWED  
RIDGE TO THE EAST EXTENDS SOUTH BETWEEN 50W/55W TO THE WEDDELL  
SEA. DOWNSTREAM FROM THIS AXIS A LONG WAVE TROUGH EXTENDS BETWEEN

SANTO/SOUTHERN MINAS GERAIS TO CENTRAL PARAGUAY. CONVECTION IS  
CLUSTERING ALONG AND NORTH OF THIS BOUNDARY.
