...HEAVY RAIN POSSIBLE OVER THE PACIFIC NORTHWEST COAST AND HEAVY  
SNOW FOR THE CASCADES...  
 
...LAKE EFFECT SNOW OVER PARTS OF THE LOWER GREAT LAKES AND  
NORTHERN APPALACHIANS...  
 
...TEMPERATURES WILL BE 20 TO 30 DEGREES ABOVE AVERAGE FOR  
CENTRAL/NORTHERN PLAINS AND PARTS OF THE SOUTHERN HIGH PLAINS...  
 
A FRONT OVER THE NORTHERN INTERMOUNTAIN REGION INTO THE GREAT  
BASIN AND SOUTHERN CALIFORNIA WILL MOVE EASTWARD TO THE UPPER  
GREAT LAKES/MIDDLE MISSISSIPPI VALLEY AND THE CENTRAL/SOUTHERN  
PLAINS BY TUESDAY. A HEAD OF THE FRONT, TEMPERATURES WILL BE WELL  
ABOVE AVERAGE OVER THE PLAINS AS A STRONG UPPER-LEVEL RIDGE WILL  
BE OVER THE HIGH PLAINS UNTIL MONDAY EVENING. WITH THE FRONT  
MOVING INLAND, THE SNOW LEVELS WILL LOWER OVER THE NORTHWEST AS  
HEAVY SNOW DEVELOPS OVER THE CASCADES THROUGH MONDAY MORNING.  
LIGHT SNOW WILL CONTINUE OVER THE CASCADES THROUGH MONDAY EVENING.  
LIKEWISE, HEAVY RAIN WILL DEVELOP OVER THE PACIFIC NORTHWEST  
THROUGH EARLY MONDAY MORNING. IN ADDITION, RAIN WILL DEVELOP OVER  
PARTS OF NORTHERN/CENTRAL CALIFORNIA THROUGH MONDAY EVENING.  
HEAVY RAIN AND SNOW WILL ALSO DEVELOP OVER THE SIERRAS THROUGH  
MONDAY EVENING, TOO. OVERNIGHT SUNDAY, SNOW AND LOWER ELEVATION  
RAIN WILL DEVELOP OVER PARTS OF THE NORTHERN INTERMOUNTAIN  
RANGE/NORTHERN ROCKIES INTO PARTS OF THE GREAT BASIN THROUGH LATE  
MONDAY NIGHT. THE RAIN WILL BE CONFINED TO THE OLYMPIC PENINSULA  
MONDAY NIGHT INTO TUESDAY MORNING.
