...LOCALLY HEAVY RAIN/SNOW MOVING FROM THE PACIFIC NORTHWEST INTO
THE NORTHERN ROCKIES TONIGHT...

..SEASONABLY WARM WEATHER CONTINUES ACROSS THE NORTHERN PLAINS

A DEEP SURFACE LOW MOVING INTO BRITISH COLUMBIA THIS AFTERNOON
WILL DRAG ITS ATTENDANT COLD FRONT ACROSS THE PACIFIC NORTHWEST
TONIGHT AND INTO THE ROCKIES AND HIGH PLAINS ON WEDNESDAY. HEAVY
MOUNTAIN SNOWS AND MODERATE LOWER ELEVATION RAINFALL ACROSS THE
PACIFIC NORTHWEST WILL CONTINUE INTO TONIGHT WHILE SPREADING INTO
THE NORTHERN INTERMOUNTAIN WEST AND NORTHERN ROCKIES. THE PACIFIC
NORTHWEST SHOULD SEE A BRIEF BREAK ON WEDNESDAY BEFORE MORE RAIN
AND SNOWFALL MOVES IN AHEAD OF A SYSTEM APPROACHING THE COAST ON
THURSDAY.

THE FRONT WILL MAKE ITS WAY INTO THE NORTHERN PLAINS BY LATER
WEDNESDAY AND THE OHIO VALLEY THURSDAY AND WITH VERY LITTLE
MOISTURE LEFT TO WORK WITH, EXPECT MAINLY LIGHT RAIN/SNOW TO
SPREAD ACROSS THE NORTHERN TIER AND INTO THE UPPER GREAT
LAKES/MIDWEST AND EVENTUALLY THE EASTERN U.S.. AHEAD OF THE FRONT
THOUGH, TEMPERATURES ACROSS THE NORTHERN PLAINS WILL CONTINUE TO
BE SEASONABLY WARM, WITH AFTERNOON HIGHS EXPECTED TO BE AS MUCH AS
15 TO 25 DEGREES ABOVE NORMAL FOR THIS TIME OF THE YEAR.

TO THE EAST, A COLD FRONT PUSHING THROUGH THE MIDWEST AND SOUTHERN
PLAINS WILL WEAKEN AS IT APPROACHES THE LOWER MISSISSIPPI VALLEY
ON WEDNESDAY. SOME MODERATE TO LOCALLY HEAVY
RAINFALL/THUNDERSTORMS MAY BE POSSIBLE ACROSS OKLAHOMA TONIGHT
NEAR THE LOW CENTER ITSELF, BUT MAINLY LIGHT RAIN AND ISOLATED
THUNDERSTORMS ARE LIKELY WEDNESDAY ACROSS THE LOWER MISSISSIPPI
VALLEY AND INTO THE OHIO VALLEY.
