..MORE LIGHT TO MODERATE RAIN/SNOW FOR THE PACIFIC NORTHWEST

...ABOVE AVERAGE TEMPERATURES TO CONTINUE FOR MOST OF THE LOWER
48...

SHOWERS ACROSS THE MID-ATLANTIC INTO THE NORTHEAST (WITH SNOW OR
MIX CLOSER TO THE CANADIAN BORDER) WILL COME TO AN END BY EARLY
TOMORROW MORNING AS A COLD FRONT PUSHES OFFSHORE. THE SOUTHERN END
OF THE COLD FRONT MAY STALL BY FRIDAY ACROSS NORTHERN FLORIDA
WHICH SHOULD KEEP ISOLATED TO SCATTERED SHOWERS IN THE FORECAST
FRIDAY AND INTO SATURDAY. OUT TO THE WEST, RAIN AND HIGH ELEVATION
SNOWS WILL WANE BRIEFLY OVERNIGHT AS THE FIRST OF A SERIES OF COLD
FRONTS MOVES THROUGH, BUT PICK UP AGAIN FRIDAY AND INTO THE
WEEKEND AS A DEEP UPPER LEVEL TROUGH AND ASSOCIATED COLD FRONT
PUSH ONSHORE. SOME HIGHER ELEVATION ACCUMULATING SNOWS MAY BE
POSSIBLE WITH THE SECOND FRONT, ESPECIALLY ACROSS PORTIONS OF THE
CASCADES AND NORTHERN ROCKIES. AS THE FIRST FRONT MOVES INTO THE
CENTRAL U.S. ON FRIDAY, SOME LIGHT SNOW OR RAIN MAY DEVELOP NEAR
THE LOW CENTER AS IT TRAVERSES THE U.S./CANADIAN BORDER ON FRIDAY
AND INTO SATURDAY.

ACROSS VIRTUALLY THE ENTIRE LOWER 48, ANOTHER VERY MILD COUPLE OF
DAYS ARE IN STORE WITH TEMPERATURES EXPECTED TO BE WELL ABOVE
NORMAL FOR THIS TIME OF THE YEAR. THE MOST NOTABLE WARMTH WILL BE
ACROSS THE CENTRAL U.S. WITH AFTERNOON HIGHS AVERAGING AS MUCH AS
10 TO 20 DEGREES ABOVE NORMAL.
