...TEMPERATURES WILL BE 20 TO 30 DEGREES BELOW AVERAGE FROM THE  
SOUTHERN PLAINS INTO OHIO VALLEY AND MIDDLE MISSISSIPPI VALLEY...  
 
A FRONT EXTENDING FROM THE LOWER GREAT LAKES/OHIO VALLEY  
SOUTHWESTWARD TO THE SOUTHERN PLAINS WILL MOVE TO THE EASTERN  
SEABOARD AND DISSIPATE WHILE A NEW FRONT DEVELOPS OFF THE EAST  
COAST BY WEDNESDAY MORNING. THE SYSTEM WILL PRODUCE LIGHT SNOW  
OVER PARTS OF THE GREAT LAKES INTO THE OHIO VALLEY THAT WILL  
EXPAND SOUTHWARD INTO PARTS OF THE SOUTHERN PLAINS/LOWER  
MISSISSIPPI VALLEY OVERNIGHT MONDAY. THE SNOW WILL MOVE EAST TO  
THE NORTHEAST TO THE CENTRAL/SOUTHERN APPALACHIANS INTO LOWER  
MISSISSIPPI VALLEY BY TUESDAY EVENING. BY WEDNESDAY MORNING, THE  
SNOW WILL MOVE TO THE NORTHEAST/MID-ATLANTIC WITH THE SNOW  
BECOMING HEAVY OVER THE NORTHEAST. IN ADDITION, AS MOISTURE MOVES  
NORTHWARD FROM THE WESTERN GULF OF MEXICO OVER THE SOUTHERN  
PLAINS, RAIN/FREEZING RAIN WILL DEVELOP OVER PARTS EASTERN TEXAS  
OVERNIGHT MONDAY ENDING BY TUESDAY EVENING.  
 
MEANWHILE, A FRONT WILL MOVE ONSHORE OVER THE WEST COAST MOVING  
INLAND TO INTERIOR NORTHWEST INTO CENTRAL CALIFORNIA WHILE  
DISSIPATING BY TUESDAY AFTERNOON. THE SYSTEM WILL PRODUCE RAIN  
ALONG THE PACIFIC NORTHWEST COAST INTO CENTRAL CALIFORNIA COAST ON  
MONDAY EVENING THAT WILL EXPAND INLAND, WITH SNOW DEVELOPING AT  
HIGHER ELEVATIONS, TO PARTS OF THE NORTHERN INTERMOUNTAIN  
REGION/GREAT BASIN BY TUESDAY AFTERNOON. THE RAIN WILL END OVER  
PARTS OF THE PACIFC NORTHWEST AND NORTHERN CALIFORNIA BY TUESDAY  
EVENING. BY WEDNESDSAY MORNING, THE SNOW OVER THE NORTHERN  
INTERMOUNTAIN REGION/GREAT BASIN WILL DISSIPATE.
