VALLEY AND CENTRAL APPALACHIANS...  
 
LOW PRESSURE OFF THE SOUTHEAST COAST WILL MOVE NORTHEASTWARD TO  
THE CANADIAN MARITIMES BY TUESDAY EVENING. THE STORM WILL PRODUCE  
RAIN OVER THE MID-ATLANTIC INTO THE SOUTHEAST WITH RAIN AND  
EMBEDDED THUNDERSTORMS OVER FLORIDA. THE RAIN WILL END OVER THE  
SOUTHEAST ON MONDAY AFTERNOON AND THE MID-ATLANTIC BY LATE MONDAY  
NIGHT. THE RAIN WITH EMBEDDED THUNDERSTORMS WILL END OVER FLORIDA  
BY TUESDAY MORNING. BY MONDAY EVENING, THE SYSTEM WILL PRODUCE  
SNOW OVER SOUTHERN NEW ENGLAND THAT WILL END BY TUESDAY EVENING.  
IN ADDITION, STRONG UPPER-LEVEL ENERGY OVER THE OHIO/TENNESSEE  
VALLEYS WILL MOVE EASTWARD OFF THE MID-ATLANTIC COAST OVERNIGHT  
TUESDAY. THE SYSTEM WILL PRODUCE SNOW OVER PARTS OF THE GREAT  
LAKES THAT WILL EXPAND INTO THE LOWER GREAT LAKES/EASTERN OHIO  
VALLEY INTO THE CENTRAL APPALACHIANS BY MONDAY EVENING. THE SNOW  
WILL SLOWLY MOVE EASTWARD TO THE MID-ATLANTIC/CENTRAL APPALACHIANS  
BY TUESDAY MORNING. FURTHERMORE, THE SNOW WILL BEGIN TO MOVE OFF  
THE MID-ATLANTIC COAST AND PARTS OF THE NORTHEAST BY TUESDAY  
EVENING.  
 
MEANWHILE, A FRONT MOVING ONSHORE OVER THE PACIFIC NORTHWEST WILL  
MOVE INLAND TO THE NORTHERN PLAINS WESTWARD ACROSS PARTS OF THE  
NORTHERN ROCKIES INTO THE GREAT BASIN BY TUESDAY EVENING. THE  
STORM WILL PRODUCE RAIN OVER THE NORTHWEST PORTION OF WASHINGTON  
STATE ON MONDAY MORNING THAT WILL EXPAND INLAND INTO OTHER PARTS  
OF THE PACIFIC NORTHWEST BY MONDAY EVENING. AS THE FRONT MOVES  
INLAND, THE SNOW LEVELS LOWER AS SNOW DEVELOPS OVER THE HIGHER  
ELEVATIONS OF THE NORTHWEST MONDAY AFTERNOON INTO EVENING.  
OVERNIGHT MONDAY, SNOW MOVES INTO THE NORTHERN ROCKIES AND RAIN  
MOVES INTO PARTS OF NORTHERN CALIFORNIA. THE SNOW CONTINUES OVER  
THE NORTHERN ROCKIES/NORTHERN PLAINS THROUGH TUESDAY EVENING.  
LIKEWISE, RAIN AND HIGHER ELEVATIONS SNOW CONTINUES OVER THE  
PACIFIC NORTHWEST ALSO THROUGH TUESDAY EVENING. ADDITIONALLY ON  
TUESDAY, AS THE BOUNDARY MOVES INTO THE NORTHERN PLAINS, SNOW WILL  
DEVELOP OVER PARTS OF THE NORTHERN PLAINS THAT WILL MOVE INTO THE  
UPPER MISSISSIPPI VALLEY AND THE UPPER GREAT LAKES BY TUESDAY  
EVENING.
