..SUMMARY

SEVERE THUNDERSTORMS ARE NOT FORECAST ACROSS THE U.S. THROUGH
TONIGHT.

..SYNOPSIS

A MID-LEVEL LOW AND ASSOCIATED TROUGH OVER THE NORTHEASTERN PACIFIC
WILL GRADUALLY MOVE TO THE WA/OR COAST BY EARLY FRIDAY MORNING.
SHALLOW CONVECTIVE SHOWERS/THUNDERSTORMS ARE POSSIBLE THIS
EVENING/TONIGHT MAINLY NEAR THE MOUTH OF THE COLUMBIA RIVER AND
AREAS NEAR THE OR COAST. VERY WEAK INSTABILITY, DUE LARGELY TO A
COLD MID-LEVEL PROFILE, WILL PRECLUDE THE RISK FOR STRONGER
THUNDERSTORMS. ELSEWHERE, SURFACE HIGH PRESSURE RESIDES OVER MUCH
OF THE CENTRAL U.S. AND A FEW THUNDERSTORMS NEAR THE SC COAST WILL
MOVE EAST INTO THE ATLANTIC DURING THE EARLY EVENING.
