WARNING FOR THE FOLLOWING RIVERS IN OREGON...WASHINGTON...  
 
COLUMBIA RIVER AT VANCOUVER AFFECTING MULTNOMAH AND CLARK COUNTIES  
 
RIVER FORECASTS ARE BASED ON OBSERVED AND FORECAST RAINFALL AND  
TEMPERATURES, AND THEY INCLUDE CURRENT AND PLANNED RESERVOIR  
RELEASES.  
 
FOR THE LATEST RIVER STAGES AND FORECASTS, VISIT  
WEATHER.GOV/PORTLAND.  
 
THE NEXT UPDATE FOR THIS LOCATION WILL BE ISSUED BY 1 PM THURSDAY.

THE NATIONAL WEATHER SERVICE IN PORTLAND HAS ISSUED A  
 
* FLOOD WARNING FOR  
THE COLUMBIA RIVER AT VANCOUVER  
* FROM LATE TONIGHT UNTIL FURTHER NOTICE.  
* AT 12 PM WEDNESDAY THE STAGE WAS...15.7 FEET.  
* FLOOD STAGE IS 16.0 FEET.  
* MINOR FLOODING IS FORECAST.  
* FORECAST...THIS RIVER IS FORECAST TO RISE ABOVE FLOOD STAGE AROUND  
5 AM THURSDAY. EXPECT CRESTS NEAR 16.3 FEET DURING HIGH TIDE  
THURSDAY MORNING AND FRIDAY MORNING. THE RIVER LEVEL WILL FLUCTUATE  
BETWEEN 15.9 AND 16.3 FEET THROUGH FRIDAY. THERE IS POTENTIAL FOR  
LEVELS NEAR OR ABOVE FLOOD STAGE FOR SEVERAL DAYS.  
* IMPACT...ABOVE 16 FT, EXPECT FLOODING OF SOME ISLANDS AND LOW  
AREAS, WITH MINOR IMPACTS FOR PARKS AND TRAILS ALONG THE RIVER.  
BOATERS SHOULD BE AWARE OF FASTER CURRENTS AND MORE DEBRIS THAN  
USUAL IN THE RIVER.
