THE FLASH FLOOD WATCH CONTINUES FOR  
 
* PORTIONS OF CENTRAL OREGON AND NORTHEAST OREGON, INCLUDING THE  
FOLLOWING AREAS, IN CENTRAL OREGON, JOHN DAY BASIN AND OCHOCO-  
JOHN DAY HIGHLANDS. IN NORTHEAST OREGON, SOUTHERN BLUE  
MOUNTAINS OF OREGON AND WALLOWA COUNTY.  
 
* UNTIL MIDNIGHT PDT TONIGHT  
 
* THUNDERSTORMS WILL CONTINUE ACROSS CENTRAL AND EASTERN OREGON  
THIS EVENING AND ARE EXPECTED TO BE SLOW MOVING AND PRODUCE  
HEAVY RAIN.  
 
* AREAS MOST PRONE TO FLASH FLOODING INCLUDE SMALL CREEKS AND  
STREAMS IN STEEP TERRAIN, WILDFIRE BURN SCARS, AND NORMALLY  
DRY WASHES. ROCK SLIDES AND DEBRIS/WATER FLOWS OVER ROADWAYS  
ARE POSSIBLE IN THESE AREAS.  
 
PRECAUTIONARY/PREPAREDNESS ACTIONS...  
 
A FLASH FLOOD WATCH MEANS THAT CONDITIONS MAY DEVELOP THAT LEAD  
TO FLASH FLOODING. LANDSLIDES AND DEBRIS FLOWS ARE POSSIBLE  
DURING THIS FLASH FLOOD EVENT. PEOPLE, STRUCTURES AND ROADS  
LOCATED BELOW STEEP SLOPES, IN CANYONS AND NEAR THE MOUTHS OF  
CANYONS MAY BE AT SERIOUS RISK FROM RAPIDLY MOVING LANDSLIDES.  
FLASH FLOODING IS A VERY DANGEROUS SITUATION.  
 
YOU SHOULD MONITOR LATER FORECASTS AND BE PREPARED TO TAKE ACTION
