INCLUDING THE CITIES OF GOVERNMENT CAMP, DETROIT, SANTIAM PASS,  
MCKENZIE PASS, MCKENZIE BRIDGE, OAKRIDGE, WILLAMETTE PASS,  
COLDWATER RIDGE VISITORS CENTER, MOUNT ST. HELENS,  
AND WIND RIVER VALLEY

...SNOW RETURNS TO THE SOUTH WASHINGTON AND NORTH AND CENTRAL  
OREGON CASCADES TODAY AND TONIGHT...  
 
A COLD FRONT JUST OFF THE COAST EARLY THIS MORNING WILL SWEEP  
ACROSS SOUTHWEST WASHINGTON AND NORTHWEST OREGON TODAY, SPREADING  
SNOW ACROSS THE CASCADES TODAY INTO TONIGHT. SNOW LEVELS WILL BE  
LOWERING TO BELOW THE CASCADE PASSES TODAY AND TONIGHT.  
 
AMOUNTS IN THE CASCADES COULD REACH 3 TO 7 INCHES, WITH THE  
HEAVIEST SNOWFALL THIS AFTERNOON AND EARLY IN THE EVENING.  
AMOUNTS IN THE PASSES WILL LIKELY BE 2 TO 3 OR POSSIBLY 4 INCHES.  
THE HEAVIER AMOUNTS, UP TO AROUND 7 INCHES, WILL BE AT 5000 TO  
6000 FEET AND HIGHER, UP AT THE SKI RESORT LEVELS.  
 
ROADS ACROSS THE CASCADES WILL BECOME SNOW COVERED THIS AFTERNOON  
AND TONIGHT, SO BE SURE TO CARRY CHAINS AND EXTRA FOOD AND WARM  
CLOTHING WHEN TRAVELLING ACROSS THE CASCADES.
