HIGH PRESSURE POSITIONED OFF THE MID ATLANTIC COAST WILL ALLOW  
SOUTHWEST WINDS TO BRING MILDER AIR TO OUR REGION TODAY. CLOUDS  
WILL BE ON THE INCREASE THIS EVENING AHEAD OF AN APPROACHING COLD  
FRONT FROM THE WEST. AS THE COLD FRONT NEARS OUR WESTERN DOORSTEPS  
IT WILL COMBINE WITH MOISTURE WORKING UP THE EASTERN SEABOARD AND  
BRING SCATTERED SHOWERS ACROSS THE REGION AFTER MIDNIGHT TONIGHT.  
SCATTERED SHOWERS WILL PERSIST WEDNESDAY MORNING WITH CLEARING  
FOLLOWING IN THE AFTERNOON AND TEMPERATURES SLIGHTLY COOLER THAN  
TODAY.  
 
DRY AND COLD CONDITIONS ARE EXPECTED WEDNESDAY NIGHT THROUGH  
FRIDAY.  
 
RAINFALL TOTALS TONIGHT THROUGH WEDNESDAY MORNING WILL AVERAGE  
FROM 0.25 TO 0.75 INCHES. WITH THIS AMOUNT OF RAIN, AREA MAIN  
STEM RIVER LEVELS WILL REMAIN NEARLY STATIONARY OR SHOW ONLY
