PATCHY DENSE FOG HAS DEVELOPED IN MANY MOUNTAIN VALLEYS AND ALONG  
THE BLUE RIDGE ESCARPMENT THIS MORNING. VISIBILITY WILL BE REDUCED  
TO ONE-QUARTER MILE OR LESS IN PORTIONS OF THESE AREAS. DRIVERS  
SHOULD BE PREPARED FOR QUICKLY FLUCTUATING VISIBILITY VALUES, SLOW  
DOWN, USE LOW BEAM HEADLIGHTS, AND INCREASE FOLLOWING DISTANCES.  
THE FOG SHOULD DISSIPATE AND VISIBILITY IMPROVE BY 9 AM.
