WINDS WILL BE FROM THE NORTH TO NORTHEAST TODAY BEHIND A DEPARTING  
COLD FRONT. A FEW SCATTERED SHOWERS AND STORMS WILL ALSO BE MOVING  
EAST ACROSS THE REGION THROUGH THE MORNING HOURS. MIN RH VALUES THIS  
AFTERNOON WILL RANGE FROM THE 30S OVER CENTRAL SOUTH DAKOTA TO  
AROUND 50 PERCENT OVER NORTHEAST SOUTH DAKOTA AND WEST CENTRAL  
MINNESOTA.  
 
ON MONDAY, WINDS WILL BEGIN TO TURN TO THE SOUTHEAST IN THE MORNING  
HOURS, THEN BECOME A BIT MORE VARIABLE ACROSS THE REGION DURING THE  
AFTERNOON. BY LATER IN THE AFTERNOON, NORTH CENTRAL SOUTH DAKOTA  
WILL BEGIN TO EXPERIENCE NORTHWEST WINDS. MIN RH ON MONDAY WILL  
RANGE FROM THE 40S TO 50S ACROSS MOST OF THE AREA.

MATERIAL ON THE GROUND INDICATE THAT THERE IS SOME POTENTIAL  
FOR A FIRE OCCURRENCE. DO NOT LEAVE OUTDOOR FIRES UNATTENDED  
UNDER THESE CONDITIONS.  
 
THE OUTLOOK FOR MONDAY AFTERNOON...THE GRASSLAND FIRE DANGER INDEX
