...A RED FLAG WARNING REMAINS IN EFFECT FOR AREAS GENERALLY ALONG  
AND WEST OF US HIGHWAY 83 FOR THIS AFTERNOON AND EARLY EVENING...  
 
.A DRY AIRMASS WILL LINGER OVER SOUTH CENTRAL TEXAS TODAY AS GULF  
OF MEXICO MOISTURE REMAINS CUT OFF. HOWEVER, SOUTHERLY WINDS WILL  
INCREASE WITH SUSTAINED WIND SPEEDS OF 15 TO 25 MPH AND GUSTS TO  
35 MPH. HUMIDITIES WILL FALL INTO THE TEENS THIS AFTERNOON INTO  
EARLY EVENING. AS A RESULT, CRITICAL FIRE WEATHER CONDITIONS ARE  
EXPECTED AND HAVE ISSUED A RED FLAG WARNING FOR AREAS GENERALLY  
ALONG AND WEST OF US HIGHWAY 83.
