TUESDAY THROUGH SUNDAY  
 
A SERIES OF STORM SYSTEMS THIS WEEK WILL BRING PERIODIC RAIN AND  
POSSIBLY LIGHT ACCUMULATIONS OF WET SNOW. TUESDAY NIGHT AND  
WEDNESDAY LIGHT TO MODERATE SNOW ACCUMULATIONS ARE POSSIBLE ON  
THE HIGHER TERRAIN OF THE COLUMBIA BASIN FROM THE WATERVILLE  
PLATEAU TO THE IDAHO PALOUSE. ANOTHER STORM SATURDAY AND SUNDAY  
WEEKEND WILL PROBABLY BRING MORE RAIN AND LIGHT SNOW. BY NEXT  
WEEKEND THE GROUND WILL LIKELY BE SATURATED AND PROMOTE RISES ON  
STREAMS AND POSSIBLE MUD SLIDES AND DEBRIS FLOWS IN STEEP TERRAIN.

A PACIFIC STORM SYSTEM BEGINNING ON TUESDAY IN THE CASCADES AND  
SPREADING THROUGH OUT THE MOUNTAINS OF EASTERN WASHINGTON AND  
NORTH IDAHO TUESDAY NIGHT AND WEDNESDAY WILL BRING HEAVY  
ACCUMULATIONS OF SNOW TO THE MOUNTAINS AND AT LEAST MODERATE TO  
POSSIBLY HEAVY ACCUMULATIONS TO THE VALLEYS. ANOTHER WET STORM  
SYSTEM THIS WEEKEND HAS THE POTENTIAL TO BRING ANOTHER ROUND OF  
HEAVY SNOW TO THE MOUNTAINS.
