SYNOPSIS  
A STRONG ARCTIC RIDGE OF HIGH PRESSURE WILL REMAIN OVER THE BC  
INTERIOR WHILE A TROUGH OF LOW PRESSURE LIES PARALLEL TO THE COAST  
JUST WEST OF VANCOUVER ISLAND. THE RESULTING INTENSE OUTFLOW  
PRESSURE GRADIENT ALONG THE COAST WILL CONTINUE THROUGH TUESDAY. A  
PACIFIC FRONTAL SYSTEM WILL APPROACH THE NORTH COAST TUESDAY NIGHT.  
GALE TO STORM FORCE NORTHEASTERLY OUTFLOW WINDS WILL PERSIST NEAR  
THE MAINLAND INLETS OF THE ENTIRE COAST PRODUCING MODERATE TO  
HEAVY FREEZING SPRAY. NORTHERLY GALES WILL VEER TO EASTERLY  
OVERNIGHT THEN RISE TO SOUTHEAST GALE TO STORM FORCE WINDS IN THE  
NORTH ON TUESDAY AS THE FRONTAL SYSTEM APPROACHES. GALE FORCE  
SOUTHEASTERLIES WILL SPREAD TO THE SOUTH COAST WEDNESDAY MORNING.
