TROPICAL STORM OPHELIA LOCATED NORTHEAST OF CAPE HATTERAS THIS  
AFTERNOON IS FORECAST TO MOVE NORTHEASTWARDS OVER THE WEEKEND.  
IT IS EXPECTED TO TRACK ALONG THE ATLANTIC COAST OF NOVA  
SCOTIA SATURDAY NIGHT AND SUNDAY...REACHING CAPE BRETON  
SUNDAY AFTERNOON. OPHELIA IS THEN FORECAST TO CROSS SOUTHEASTERN  
NEWFOUNDLAND SUNDAY NIGHT AND MONDAY.  
 
OPHELIA IS PREDICTED TO BE UNDERGOING POST-TROPICAL TRANSITION AS IT  
TRACKS THROUGH ATLANTIC CANADA.  
 
RAIN AT TIMES HEAVY...AND STRONG WINDS ARE FORECAST TO ACCOMPANY  
OPHELIA. RAINFALL AMOUNTS OF 25 TO 45 MILLIMETRES ARE PREDICTED FOR  
SOUTHERN NEW BRUNSWICK UP TO MIDNIGHT SATURDAY. FURTHER AMOUNTS  
ARE EXPECTED SATURDAY NIGHT AND SUNDAY MORNING.  
 
THE PUBLIC IS ADVISED TO MONITOR FUTURE FORECASTS AS WARNINGS MAY BE  
REQUIRED.
