==DISCUSSION==  
 
HEAVY SNOW CONTINUES IN NORTHWESTERN MANITOBA.  
 
WIDESPREAD SNOWFALL ACCUMULATIONS OF 15 TO 25 CM AND LOCAL  
ACCUMULATIONS OF 30 TO 50 CM CAN BE EXPECTED BY THURSDAY MORNING,  
WITH NORTHERLY WINDS GUSTING TO 50 KM/H GIVING POOR VISIBILITY IN  
BLOWING SNOW WEDNESDAY EVENING.  
 
CONDITIONS WILL IMPROVE OVERNIGHT WEDNESDAY INTO EARLY THURSDAY  
MORNING AS THE SNOW TAPERS OFF AND WINDS DIMINISH. HOWEVER, LIGHT  
SNOW IS EXPECTED TO CONTINUE FOR NORTHWESTERN MANITOBA UNTIL FRIDAY.  
 
CONSIDER POSTPONING NON-ESSENTIAL TRAVEL UNTIL CONDITIONS IMPROVE.  
RAPIDLY ACCUMULATING SNOW WILL MAKE TRAVEL DIFFICULT. PREPARE FOR  
QUICKLY CHANGING AND DETERIORATING TRAVEL CONDITIONS. VISIBILITY  
WILL BE SUDDENLY REDUCED TO NEAR ZERO AT TIMES IN HEAVY SNOW AND  
BLOWING SNOW. PROTECT YOURSELF FROM WIND, COLD AND DISORIENTATION BY  
STAYING SHELTERED, INDOORS OR WITH YOUR VEHICLE. ROAD CLOSURES ARE  
POSSIBLE. TAKE FREQUENT BREAKS AND AVOID STRAIN WHEN CLEARING SNOW.
