BLIZZARD CONDITIONS WITH GUSTY WINDS AND PERSISTENT VISIBILITY NEAR  
ZERO IN SNOW AND BLOWING SNOW ARE EXPECTED OR OCCURRING.  
 
WHEN: NOW TO MONDAY NIGHT  
 
WHERE: DEMPSTER HIGHWAY NEAR THE RICHARDSON MOUNTAINS.  
 
ADDITIONAL INFORMATION: EASTERLY WINDS WITH GUSTS TO 80 KM/H IS  
PRODUCING NEAR-ZERO VISIBILITY IN BLOWING SNOW ACROSS THE DEMPSTER  
HIGHWAY NEAR THE RICHARDSON MOUNTAINS. THE BLIZZARD IS EXPECTED TO  
CONTINUE INTO MONDAY BEFORE ENDING MONDAY EVENING AS THE STRONG  
WINDS EASE.  
 
TRAVEL IS EXPECTED TO BE EXTREMELY HAZARDOUS DUE TO REDUCED  
VISIBILITY. ANYONE WHO IS NOT DRESSED WARMLY IS AT RISK OF FROSTBITE  
AND HYPOTHERMIA IN COLD WEATHER.  
 
BLIZZARD WARNINGS ARE ISSUED WHEN WIDESPREAD REDUCED VISIBILITIES OF  
400 METRES OR LESS ARE EXPECTED FOR AT LEAST 4 HOURS.
