SYNOPSIS
 
A COLD FRONT WILL APPROACH FROM THE NW THIS EVENING,  
AND THEN MOVE SE ACROSS THE WATERS LATE TONIGHT INTO MON. RAPIDLY  
INTENSIFYING LOW PRESSURE WILL PASS JUST SE OF THE WATERS LATE  
MON, AND THEN WILL SLOWLY TRACK E AWAY FROM THE WATERS MON NIGHT  
AND TUE. HURRICANE FORCE WINDS ARE EXPECTED TO DEVELOP NEAR THE  
LOW TO THE S AND SE OF THE AREA MON INTO TUE. ALL MARINERS  
TRANSITING WATERS ESPECIALLY SE OF THE WATERS LATER MON THROUGH  
TUE SHOULD CLOSELY MONITOR THE LATEST FORECASTS, INCLUDING THE  
NORTH ATLANTIC HIGH SEAS FORECAST, AND EXECUTE AVOIDANCE PLANS  
OVER THOSE AREAS SE OF THE NEW ENGLAND OFFSHORE WATERS.  
OTHERWISE, WEAKENING HIGH PRESSURE WILL BUILD SE TOWARD THE AREA  
MON NIGHT, CROSS THE AREA TUE, AND THEN SHIFT E TUE NIGHT AHEAD  
OF THE NEXT COLD FRONT. THIS NEXT COLD FRONT WILL MOVE E AND SE  
ACROSS THE AREA LATER TUE NIGHT INTO WED, WITH A HIGH PRESSURE  
RIDGE CROSSING THE AREA LATER WED AND WED NIGHT. A WARM FRONT  
WILL LIFT NE OVER THE WATERS THU AND THU NIGHT, FOLLOWED BY A  
COLD FRONT MOVING OFFSHORE FRI INTO FRI NIGHT AS LOW PRESSURE  
PASSES JUST N AND NE OF THE WATERS. ANOTHER LOW PRESSURE AREA  
WILL APPROACH FROM THE SW FRI NIGHT.
