SYNOPSIS
 
A STATIONARY FRONT NEAR THE COAST EXTENDING SW FROM  
CAPE HATTERAS WILL WEAKEN AND DISSIPATE TONIGHT. RAPIDLY  
INTENSIFYING LOW PRESSURE WILL PASS ACROSS THE AREA AND THEN  
JUST E OF THE WATERS TONIGHT INTO EARLY MON. A COLD FRONT WILL  
MOVE SE OVER THE AREA LATE MON INTO MON NIGHT. THE RAPIDLY  
INTENSIFYING LOW WILL SLOW WELL NE OF THE AREA LATE MON AND MON  
NIGHT, AND THEN WILL SLOWLY TRACK E AWAY FROM THE WATERS LATER  
MON NIGHT AND TUE. HURRICANE FORCE WINDS ARE EXPECTED TO DEVELOP  
NEAR THE LOW JUST TO THE NE OF THE AREA MON INTO TUE. ALL  
MARINERS TRANSITING AREAS ACROSS THE OUTER MID-ATLANTIC OFFSHORE  
WATERS OR JUST E OF THESE WATERS MON THROUGH TUE SHOULD CLOSELY  
MONITOR THE LATEST FORECASTS, INCLUDING THE NORTH ATLANTIC HIGH  
SEAS FORECAST, AND EXECUTE AVOIDANCE PLANS OVER THESE AREAS.  
OTHERWISE, HIGH PRESSURE WILL BUILD E AND SE OVER THE WATERS MON  
NIGHT THROUGH TUE NIGHT. ONCE THE HIGH PRESSURE SHIFTS E OF THE  
WATERS WED, THE ASSOCIATED RIDGE WILL THEN PERSIST OVER THE AREA  
THROUGH WED NIGHT, AND THEN SHIFT S OF THE WATERS THU. A COLD  
FRONT WILL SLOWLY APPROACH THE COAST THU NIGHT AND FRI, AND THEN  
WILL MOVE OFFSHORE FRI NIGHT.
