INCLUDING THE CITIES OF SKAGWAY, GUSTAVUS, HOONAH, ELFIN COVE,  
PELICAN, ANGOON, AND JUNEAU

...SEASONABLY STRONG LOW PRESSURE SYSTEM TO IMPACT THE NORTHERN  
AND CENTRAL INNER CHANNELS THIS WEEKEND...  
 
SOUTHERLY WINDS WILL GRADUALLY INCREASE OVER THE NORTHERN INNER  
CHANNELS FRIDAY AFTERNOON AND EVENING AS THE LOW APPROACHES FROM  
THE NORTH. THEY WILL THEN CHANGE DIRECTION, BECOMING NORTHERLY AND  
RAPIDLY INTENSIFYING SATURDAY. GALE FORCE, POSSIBLY STORM FORCE,  
WINDS ARE EXPECTED TO DEVELOP IN LYNN CANAL, STEPHENS PASSAGE,  
CHATHAM STRAIT, AND CROSS SOUND. NUMEROUS SMALL CRAFT ADVISORIES  
ARE ALSO EXPECTED TO DEVELOP DURING THIS TIMEFRAME. PEAK WINDS  
ARE EXPECTED SOMETIME DURING THE AFTERNOON OR EVENING HOURS  
SATURDAY.  
 
IN ADDITION TO THE MARINE WINDS, STRONG WINDS ARE POSSIBLE FOR  
SKAGWAY, JUNEAU, AND TENAKEE SPRINGS.  
 
THIS SITUATION WILL CONTINUE TO BE MONITORED AND UPDATED AS  
NECESSARY.
