.HEAVY RAINFALL DURING THE PAST WEEK HAS PRODUCED RISES ON THE  
CAHABA RIVER. HOWEVER, LEVELS ARE EXPECTED TO REMAIN BELOW  
ESTABLISHED FLOOD STAGES, AND ANY OVERFLOW ALONG THE RIVER SHOULD BE  
OF MINOR NATURE.  
 
THE CAHABA RIVER AT MARION JUNCTION.  
* AT 8:00 AM CDT MONDAY THE STAGE WAS 22.4 FEET.  
* ACTION STAGE IS 15.0 FEET.  
* FLOOD STAGE IS 36.0 FEET.  
* FORECAST...THE RIVER IS EXPECTED TO FALL BELOW ACTION STAGE BY  
THIS EVENING.  
* IMPACT...AT 15.0 FEET...FLOODING AROUND OAKMULGEE CREEK BEGINS AND  
CATTLE NEED TO BE MOVED TO HIGHER GROUND. OVERFLOW OF PASTURE  
LANDS INCREASES AT STAGES ABOVE 20 FEET.  
 
THIS WILL BE THE LAST STATEMENT CONCERNING THIS EVENT UNLESS  
CONDITIONS WARRANT ADDITIONAL INFORMATION.
