PATCHY DENSE FOG POSSIBLE FOR PORTIONS OF NORTHEASTERN ALABAMA.  
 
PATCHY DENSE FOG HAS DEVELOPED ACROSS MARSHALL AND DEKALB COUNTIES IN  
NORTHEASTERN ALABAMA, WITH VISIBILITIES DROPPING TO 1/4 MILE OR LESS,  
PARTICULARLY IN THE FORT PAYNE AND SCOTTSBORO AREAS. BE CAREFUL IF  
DRIVING ALONG HIGHWAY 72 NEAR THE TENNESSEE RIVER IN JACKSON COUNTY  
OR ON INTERSTATE 59 IN DEKALB COUNTY.  
 
MOTORISTS ARE URGED TO DRIVE WITH EXTREME CAUTION, AS VISIBILITIES  
WILL VARY SIGNIFICANTLY GIVEN THE PATCHY NATURE OF THE FOG. USE LOW  
BEAMS, REDUCE DRIVING SPEED, AND ALLOW FOR PLENTY OF ROOM BETWEEN  
YOU AND OTHER CARS.  
 
THE FOG IS EXPECTED TO DISSIPATE AS SOME DRIER AIR MOVES INTO THE  
AREA AROUND 3 AM.
