DISCUSSION

A LOW PRESSURE SYSTEM MOVING SOUTH OUT OF WESTERN CANADA WILL RESULT IN
BROAD TROUGH EXTENDING OVER SOUTHERN CALIFORNIA ON MONDAY. THIS WILL BRING
A SHIFT TO ONSHORE FLOW TO THE FORECAST AREA THROUGH MIDWEEK, WITH GUSTY
ONSHORE FLOW OVER THE INTERIOR VALLEYS NEAR VALENCIA. A DEEPENING MARINE
LAYER WILL MOVE INLAND OVER THE LA BASIN AND SOME OF THE VALLEYS
OVERNIGHT INTO MONDAY, AND COASTAL AREAS ARE LIKELY TO RETAIN AT LEAST
PARTIAL CLOUDINESS THROUGH THE DAY. INGLEWOOD MAY STAY MOSTLY CLOUDY DURING
THE AFTERNOON HOURS. IN ADDITION, LOWER TEMPERATURES AND MUCH HIGHER
HUMIDITIES ARE EXPECTED.

THE MARINE LAYER WILL DEEPEN FURTHER MONDAY NIGHT INTO TUESDAY, WITH A GOOD
CHANCE OF DRIZZLE OR EVEN LIGHT MEASURABLE RAIN FROM THE COAST TO THE
MOUNTAINS.
