CALIFORNIA TODAY, BEFORE TAPERING OFF THIS EVENING. RAINFALL AMOUNTS AT  
THE COAST AND IN VALLEYS WILL BE AROUND A HALF INCH IN HUMBOLDT AND  
DEL NORTE. SEVERAL INCHES OF SNOW WILL FALL IN THE MOUNTAINS,  
MAINLY ABOVE 2500 FEET OR SO. HIGH PRESSURE WILL BRING MORE DRY  
AND COLD WEATHER THURSDAY AND FRIDAY, FOLLOWED BY A WEAK COLD  
FRONT SATURDAY. MORE SUBSTANTIAL RAIN AND MOUNTAIN SNOW IS  
EXPECTED SUNDAY THROUGH TUESDAY OF NEXT WEEK.

FRONT SATURDAY. MORE SUBSTANTIAL RAIN AND MOUNTAIN SNOW IS
