SYNOPSIS FOR THE SOUTHERN OREGON COASTAL WATERS
A STRONG FRONTS
IS PASSING THROUGH THE WATERS THIS MORNING, BRINGING GALES AND
VERY HIGH AND VERY STEEP CHAOTIC SEAS. WINDS BECOME SOUTHWEST AND
DIMINISH THIS AFTERNOON, BUT SEAS WILL REMAIN VERY HIGH AND VERY
STEEP. THE NEXT STRONG FRONT FOLLOWS ON SUNDAY WITH ANOTHER LATER
IN THE DAY ON MONDAY, AND YET ANOTHER WEDNESDAY NIGHT INTO
THURSDAY. SOUTH GALES ARE LIKELY WITH EACH OF THESE FRONTS ALONG
WITH A PROLONGED PERIOD OF VERY HIGH, VERY STEEP AND HAZARDOUS
SEAS DUE TO A MIX OF SHORT PERIOD WIND SEAS AND LONG PERIOD SWELL.
